The Mobile Health Technologies (MHT) Support Specialist is responsible for support of the MHT program which includes in-office responsibilities as well as installation and maintenance of MHT products in subscribers’ homes. Responsible for meeting growth objectives through efficient referral management and follow through.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent Masonicare professionally and graciously. Become well-informed about the Masonicare mission, continuum and culture. Set a tone of competence, caring and hospitality, whether on the phone or in person.
- Account management
- Responsible for initial contact with prospective subscribers and managing telephone traffic for current subscribers in a courteous and professional manner. Communicates effectively and tactfully with subscribers, recognizing their age, cultural diversity, needs, abilities and physical condition.
- Responsible for the installation and removal of Mobile Health Technologies’ equipment in subcribers’ homes throughout the state as well as general maintenance of devices (battery and button swap outs)
- Provides follow-up to clients after installation to ensure satisfaction and wellness
- Maintains high retention rates through consistent communication and service quality
- Provides follow-up to mobile health technologies’ vendor and other mobile health technologies’ staff after installation and following deactivation
- Maintains stock of MHT equipment.
- Completes associated paperwork to include EMR entry, care plan, authorizations for state agencies and billing, ensuring receipt of required financial information to ensure streamlined billing.
- Maintains accurate client records, sales activity and reporting in CRM systems
- Archives patient records according to policy.
- Supports Director by generating reports for installations, deactivations and device changes on a monthly basis.
- Meet program caseload growth objectives
- Builds and maintains a pipeline of new clients through referrals, community outreach and partnerships while maintaining profitability targets and cost efficiency
- Networks with affiliates of Masonicare, other local healthcare providers, case managers, senior centers and other providers to build subscriber base
- Serves as the face of Masonciare to the business community, including public speaking events
- Assists in planning and participates in expositions and public relations/marketing events both on and off-site
- Anticipates additional or non-routine work hours in order to accommodate potential subscribers’ schedule and subscription activity objectives, inclusive of trade/vendor shows
- Identifies opportunities and products to expand services within the senior care and aging in place market that align with Masonicare’s mission and values while staying informed on medical alert technologies and broader senior safety solutions
- Assists in creation and provides feedback with respect to advertising, direct mail, special events and collateral materials in development to ensure that target audience is being reached
- Participates in meetings with manager to review census, marketing efforts and contribute to strategy development accordingly
- Financial performance and accountability
- Ensure all client billing information is accurately entered, updated and submitted by established monthly deadlines
- Verify service activation, changes and cancellations are properly reflected in all systems
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies prior to month end close and escalating to leadership
- Maintain organized and up to date client account records to support accurate invoicing
- Manage assigned territory and caseload with accountability for meeting revenue targets while controlling associated costs
- Monitor and maintain expected revenue to expense ratio
- Track key financial metrics including client acquisition cost, retention value and service related expenses
- Identify opportunities to improve margins
- Collaborate with leadership on forecasting, budgeting and financial performance reviews
- Can be depended upon to report to work on-time, use time off appropriately, and complete annual education & medical requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Associate’s Degree in a health-related field required and a Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of Two (2) Years’ Experience in the geriatric field
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Maintains current Driver’s License and auto insurance
