The Office Support Coordinator is a multi-tiered position, which may include data entry, general secretarial duties, and administrative support to the Homecare Operations Department in order to ensure that agency goals and objectives are met.
Oversees the medical record request function at MHHH, Partners and Masonicare at Home.Works with branch personnel to ensure all regulatory and legal requirements are followed.
Assists with the Hospice import of medication information from Hospice Pharmacy Management Vendor
Responsible for entering medication fill and refill data for inpatient Hospice patients.Reviews, analyzes and researches all data to ensure it meets regulatory guidelines.
Responsible for entering Medicaid Authorizations into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Assist with home health face to face requirement.Obtains, reviews and enters forms into EMR.Follow sups with MD offices for more information as needed.
Assists with administrative support functions including but not limited to filing, faxing, copying and maintenance of files.
Works on special projects and participates in designated committees as assigned.
Can be depended upon to report to work on-time, use time off appropriately, and complete annual education & medical requirements.
Communicates effectively and tactfully with clients, recognizing their age, cultural diversity, needs, abilities, and physical condition.
Performs other duties as required.
High school Diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of medical record policies and procedures.
Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs along with computer data entry.
1-2 years of prior work experience in a business office environment.
