Homecare Occupational Therapist (OT)

Masonicare Home Health & Hospice, an affiliate of Masonicare, is seeking a dedicated and accomplished OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (OT) for our Lower Fairfield County, CT service area.

This is a FULL TIME - BENEFIT ELIGIBLE POSITION!
**Part time (24 or 32 hrs, with benefits) and Per Visit/Per Diem positions are also available**

The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides therapeutic services according to physician's orders in the patient's home setting.

The OT will perform patient evaluations and will work to develop, implement and evaluate the plan of care and make necessary revisions to address all problems in the plan of care. OTs provide coordination of the plan of care, maintaining continuity of client care with other health professionals while identifying interdisciplinary care needs and making recommendations for additional home health care services.

Masonicare is fully electronic! Our therapists demonstrate timely and accurate computer documentation of patient/job information to facilitate the development of the OASIS data set, orders for service, creation of time sheets and other required patient/employment documents and reports.

For a Full Time position, a homecare OT would do 25 visits per week, or 5 visits per day. Visits are done primarilly during the DAY SHIFT, but exact scheduling is flexible.

At Masonicare, Occupational Therapists are paid an annual salary (for full and part time positions) and are eligible for weekly productivity bonuses! As a salaried employee, your income will not fluctuate with the changes in our patient volume.

Current OT License and minimum of one year's clinical experience in a progressive therapy environment required.
